Safe Play Area for the Children

NPH Mexico experienced an earthquake in September 2017 that damaged the "Casa San Salvador" campus. Their playground was already in need of updates and remodeling and then the earthquake caused damage to the perimeter wall, furthering the need for improvements. The children currently do not have a safe place to play outside and your support can change this!

The goal of this project is to create a high quality area for the children to be able to enjoy, supporting their physical and emotional needs through activity and play.

Please consider donating to this project at any level. Although the total cost is high, there are many opportunities to make a donation and purchase portions of this playground for the children to enjoy. Examples are below but please reach out to our team for the full breakdown of all project costs.

A Portion of Project Costs*:

  • Cleaning and removing current grass and foundation: $402
  • Building planters for environmental education: $131
  • PVC pipes and water drainage: $998
  • Structure for garden roofing: $4,405
