In a town close to the main campus in Guatemala, there are 2 independence houses for high school students, ages 16 to 22 years. As part of the process of independence, NPH Guatemala high school students participate in a program that aims to ensure that they increase their level of responsibility, fulfilling their assignments at home and at school.

For safety concerns, NPH needs to build a concrete wall in the back of the property where the young women live. The home is located on a cliff and they need to build the wall for the safety of the girls and all who live and work on the property.
