Casa Belvedere Online Giving
Thank you for your interest in supporting The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere. This not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization was created to encourage an appreciation of the Italian language, culture, arts, music, literature, history, fashion, cinema and cuisine through educational programs, exhibits, and cultural events. Through our innovative programming, the Foundation also seeks to preserve and celebrate the rich Italian heritage and the contributions of Italians and Italian-Americans to the fabric of the United States.
Programs are offered to people of all ages and backgrounds who share an affinity and appreciation for "everything Italian." A particular emphasis is placed on educating and empowering, Italian-American youth to better understand and identify with their culture while fostering a positive self-image. The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere offers weekly classes and programs in Italian language, cooking, and other disciplines for children, adolescents, and adults. Serving the community in this capacity is what we do best, but we need your help!
The Foundation is housed in a New York City landmark mansion located on lovely Grymes Hill, in Staten Island, New York, that boasts a spectacular view of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and the New York City Harbor. This magnificent landmark building was built in 1908 by the granddaughter of John Roebling and is listed on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places.
In addition to its organizational mission, the non-profit organization strives continuously to raise funds to rehabilitate the mansion back to its original historical significance while converting it to a modern-day community facility.
The Mansion is in need of substantial renovation, restoration and upgrades in order to place it in a fully functioning condition suitable for its intended public use by the non-profit organization. Currently, our fundraising efforts are focused on preserving, renovating, and restoring a pivotal and historic structure on Staten Island while expanding its use to a public facility.
By contributing today, whether to attend an event or program, to participate in a class or workshop, to support a particular campaign, to take a chance on a raffle or to simply make a charitable gift, you are supporting our noble mission.
You can make a difference! Your generosity will help advance Casa Belvedere's goal of becoming a premier Italian Arts & Cultural destination for generations to come.
Your kind support is very much appreciated.
