St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal showed us the holiness of friendship. The Oblates of St. Francis de Sales have modeled this approach in our schools, parishes and ministries. The "Adopt a Senior Oblate" program allows you to continue these relationships or build new ones with our aging priests and brothers.
You can be a friend to these men by providing them with direct outside contact and becoming that someone special they pray for each day at daily mass, community prayers, and in private devotions. Your generosity also contributes to their care and medical expenses.
Any contribution is welcomed, we appreciate your prayers and financial support. You can choose a specific priest or brother, or we will choose an Oblate for you. After your enrollment form is submitted, you will receive a biography and contact information for your adopted Oblate. While this is primarily a prayer relationship, once you are part of the program, the extent of your interaction with the Oblate is up to you and the Oblate you sponsor.
