Claire Nunez

Hi! My name is Claire.

I am a missionary with a passion for worship, art, and helping people realize their true identity in Jesus. I am a nerd, artist, musician, extrovert, and tea lover, with a love for Japan, and of course for Jesus. I love being able to use the creativity God gave me to give Him glory and to bless others.

God called me to do a discipleship training school with YWAM in Tokyo, Japan back in June of 2016, and as soon as I set foot in Japan, I knew in my heart I was going to come back someday. My DTS was hands down the best five months of my life; I was captivated by God's love, learned and grew so much, and fell even more in love with Japan. After coming home for several months, I did a school of worship in Kona, Hawaii with University of the Nations, and during that school I finally felt like God was giving me the OK to apply as staff with YWAM Tokyo. On Valentine's day of 2018, I got the news that I'd been accepted as staff. And so begins the journey back to Japan!

I am looking forward to joining my YWAM Tokyo family once again and being able to share Jesus' love in Japan. I'll be going back for about three years. Thank you for coming along on this journey with me!
