Moriah Horn

I am a missionary with YWAM Borgen in the North of Norway, but am originally from Upstate New York. (We are the most northern YWAM base in the world!)

I first came to Borgen as a student in 2015, and during that time God placed the youth here on my heart. My next step was to receive training and raise support so that I would be able to come and properly invest in the youth. Between 2016-2018 I completed a PCYM (Principles of Child and Youth Ministry) school and had an internship with a YWAM base in Sweden that was working with Kings Kids, a family and youth ministry. There I gained more hands-on experience to round out what I had learned through PCYM.

Finally, after much waiting on Visas and seeking God for my next steps it was time to move back to Norway in January 2019. Since then, I have been building relationships and laying foundations for a youth ministry, meeting with youth, spending time with them, getting to know them, and hearing them out, all the while telling them about God and showing His love at every opportunity. I am so blessed to be working with these teens and seeing where God takes them in their lives and walk with Him.
