Who am I?

My name is Sherie, I'm from New Zealand and I have been serving with Fire and Fragrance Himalayas for almost three years. My own journey with Jesus has been one of learning to trust him completely and to be obedient to his voice. On my DTS I had no idea how deeply personal our relationship can be with Jesus or how much he wants to partner with us in bringing his salvation to the world. Since learning this my whole life has changed!

My Vision

I am passionate about discipleship and have a desire to see young people not only encounter Jesus's love but stay faithful to him through everything. And I want to do this by helping people find freedom from anything that would hold them back from radical obedience. I want to help people discover what their unique God-given giftings are and how they are purposed to carry out the Great Commission. Nepal is a nation in which the church is rapidly growing and the harvest is ready but the laborers are few. Many people are hearing about Jesus but they need to know what it means to follow him. That's why I am here.

It's a dream of mine to be able to not only fund the things that I feel God has put on my heart, sports ministry, training, and discipleship but it's also a big dream of mine to be able to help my Nepali brothers and sister as well. Finances can be a scary thing but some of the biggest testimonies in my life have been how God has provided through other people and their radical generosity.
