The Humane Society of Northeast Texas (HSNTX), a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization was founded in 1972. We are located at P.O. Box 6922 in Longview, TX. Our shelter can hold between 150 to 200 animals, but we take in between 12,000 to 18,000 annually. We are funded through contracts with the communities we serve, donations, and fees charged for adoptions and other services. Our shelter accepts all animals, and we are dedicated to finding homes for as many as possible. We are passionate about the animals in our care, and we work long, hard hours to provide a service that both our community and the animals in it deserve. Donations are tax deductible. To end euthanasia of adoptable animals ... where one day, no healthy companion animal will be euthanized for lack of a home, for lack of space, or for lack of compassion.
