Restorative Justice Practices
- Counseling New Path Center exists to be a safe place where individuals and communities discover reasonable, respectful, restorative, and redemptive pathways through difficult times; a place of hope for those who experience loss, or other painful life transitions.
- Training Conflict and loss are a reality of life. It makes sense to develop a healthy readiness for the times we will experience it. Current training modules include Anger Management, Conflict Coaching, Leadership and Peacemaking, Experiencing Peace with Loss, and Creating Memory Ceremonies.
- Mediation Conflict happens, even in the best of relationships. Mediation is a proven option when the issues are important and the relationships are valued. With the help of a third party to create a safe place, it is possible to have a constructive dialogue.
- Restorative Justice A response to an offense or crime that emphasizes repairing the harm caused by it. "When victims, offenders, and community members meet voluntarily to decide how to do that, transformation can result."
