Workforce Housing Solar Fund

This is a fund to make solar energy installations accessible to the three low income families and individuals participating in the 2020-2021 cycle of the Owner-Built Workforce Housing Program.

The fund will be used solely for the purpose of photovoltaic solar system installations on houses constructed for the Owner-Built Workforce Housing Program.

Each solar system will be 3.9 kW, which is designed to power the majority of the home's electricity use with solar energy. Including system parts, labor, and electrician work, the cost of each system is estimated to be $11,000. The total cost estimate to install solar systems on all three homes is $33,000.
