Alyssa Lagang

Originally from California, I became a full-time volunteer with Youth With A Mission in 2016 at the age of 19 years old. During my Discipleship Training School the year prior, I learned what it meant to really follow Jesus and wanted to share his goodness and love to the nations.

I began my time in missions with YWAM Perth, Australia where I began learning how to lead and disciple young people in missions and I partnered with the ministry, Megacities, in impacting cities alongside the local church with the gospel.

With a heart for arts & music, young people, and the urban world, I felt God calling me to France. In 2019, I joined full-time with YWAM Paris Connect where I have been involved in music ministry, running Discipleship Training Schools, and serving backbone ministries to run our YWAM base. God has continued to grow my heart for France, it's culture, and the influence it has on the world and I continue to serve with YWAM in Paris today!

My vision is to see the city of Paris and the French-speaking world impacted by the power of Jesus. I aim to

• Disciple others to know and pursue the call of God on their lives
• Use music as a platform to connect and minister to people hope in Jesus
• Share truth and the love of God with the nations through evangelism and my personal testimony

As a full-time volunteer, I do not earn a salary in the mission-field, but instead I trust God for finances and am funded by a team of monthly supporters to regularly give.
