Many of us pay our bills online, do our banking online, and make charitable giving online (Colorado Public Radio calls these "Evergreen Partners").
Why not Church Offerings?
Immaculate Conception is now offering an electronic tithe and offering program called e-Giving. Your offertory gifts made through the e-Giving program will work harder than ever to support our church. When you participate in the program, your gifts will be transferred conveniently each month from your checking account, savings account or credit card directly to the church. Due to the processing costs associated with using a credit card, we prefer you use your checking or savings account if you choose to utilize e-Giving.
With e-Giving your gifts will go further than ever allowing our church to reduce our debt and plan future projects with great efficiency since more will be known about our revenue stream over the months ahead. The program is convenient, as well as safe, secure and reliable.
As a participant of the program, you are still free to make additional gifts by check or cash. You may continue to place an offering in the weekly collection basket.
A record of each gift will appear on your monthly bank statement or credit card statement. In addition, we will continue to record and report to you all of your giving, regardless of the method, on the giving statements the church provides. You may increase, decrease or suspend your giving at any time by calling the church at (303) 655-5103. All transfers originating as Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions from your checking or savings account comply with U.S. law.
If Jesus and St. Paul were among us in person today, they would be blogging and using EFT.
