Continue to fund the Endowed Scholarship. Initiated in 2020 with a $30,000 balance, the proceeds are currently supplying two $1000 scholarships to juniors and seniors. Lord willing, we plan to grow the endowment to encourage and support more students with larger amounts. As of March 1, 2022, the fund balance was $49,327.
Purchase 2 "Teq" tables to provide indoor recreational opportunities in the new Betty Kohn Fieldhouse and the LSC Gymnasium. All students will have access to the "Teq" tables to develop skills and enjoy popular new sports.
Help supply copies of Christian Worship: Psalter for the Chapel of the Christ. The Psalter contains 450 psalm settings (an average of 3 per psalm) and will enhance instruction, worship, and devotional life of our students.
Our current policy is that 70% of your gift will go to the scholarship and 30% to the projects. If you would prefer that one project receive the entire 30%, you may note that in the "Comments" below. If not, your gift will support both projects.
Any support is greatly appreciated. In an effort to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of its resources, the MLCAA urges its members to consider recurring gifts (preferably via ACH withdrawal from a checking or savings account). This method is the least expensive to process, assists alumni volunteers in budget planning, and permits the highest percentage of your gift to go toward its intended purpose.
